Roadside safety,
engineered
intelligently.
A solar-powered digital signage platform for speed awareness, traffic signaling, warning displays, and remote roadside monitoring.
How SmartSign measures vehicle speed.
Experience the real-time speed measurement process in this interactive 3D simulation.
1. Microwave Radar Beam Emission
The integrated radar module emits a high-frequency microwave sensor cone (K-Band) down the road, scanning oncoming vehicle lanes up to 200 meters away.
2. Speed Calculation & Threshold Evaluation
As a vehicle enters the beam, Doppler frequency shifts are computed instantly (in milliseconds). The local controller compares the calculated speed against configured site speed limits.
3. Dynamic LED Output Alert
The high-visibility LED matrix updates instantly. If the vehicle is speeding, the display changes color (or flashes "SLOW DOWN") to alert the driver to reduce speed.
4. Cloud Data Ingestion
Traffic counts, calculated speeds, and threshold violations are securely uploaded via GSM/Cellular connectivity to the Inurum Central Cloud dashboard for remote monitoring.
From sunlight to real-time road guidance.
The system combines independent power, roadside sensing, local control, visible alerts, and remote supervision.
Solar power
The solar array charges the battery and supports off-grid roadside operation.
Road sensing
Camera or radar modules observe vehicles and collect configured road events.
Local control
The controller evaluates configured rules and switches the appropriate output.
Visible warning
Speed, direction, warning, or traffic information appears on high-visibility LEDs.
Signal response
Red, amber, and green modules can operate according to the selected logic.
Remote access
Supported deployments can report health, events, and configuration to a dashboard.
Designed for real roadside conditions.
Solar operation
Independent power architecture for locations where grid access is limited or unavailable.
Vehicle awareness
Supports radar, camera, or sensor-based detection according to deployment requirements.
Dynamic signage
Display speed, arrows, limits, warnings, or customized road messages.
LED traffic modules
High-visibility red, amber, and green modules for traffic and safety applications.
Field monitoring
Camera and sensor options support road observation and deployment verification.
Connected control
Optional remote status, alerts, and configuration through supported connectivity.
Day and night visibility
LED output is designed to remain visible across changing light conditions.
Configurable hardware
Pole, display, solar, battery, sensing, and communication options can be tailored per site.
